1 John 05:11-12 (TLB), “And what is it that God has said? That He has given us Eternal Life and that this Life is in His Son. So whoever has God’s Son has Life; whoever does not have His Son, does not have Life.”
It’s not a rare thing to hear men and women of diverse ages (from babies to the old) grumbling over how life has become unpredictable and on how ‘really’ no one can tell what their tomorrow holds! This may seem ‘wise’ and ‘true’ but it only holds water/ground for that man/woman who is yet to receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Selah!
Yes, for the child of God life ought to no longer be a mystery or one saturated with lows and highs. Every believer of Jesus Christ possesses the Very Eternal Life of God as highlighted in our lead verse. This is their present day possession and reality. Praise the Lord!
As such, it’s laid upon the believer to now grow in the accuate knowledge (experiential) of this New Life and in turn work out its implications in every area of interest. Accept this beloved!
Key to always remember is that the Lord never said there will be no challenges in our walk of faith BUT He has PRESENTLY availed IN us His Life which ever triumphs any kind of challenge. Calmly ponder on this!
Beloved, this is why you should not cease from sharing Christ with your worlds; He is THE Only Stability in fragile times. Hallelujah!
1 Peter 02:06 (MSG) The Scriptures provide precedent: Look! I’m setting a Stone in Zion, a Cornerstone in the place of honor. Whoever trusts in this Stone as a Foundation will never have cause to regret it.
The Lord never said there will be no challenges in our walk of faith BUT He has PRESENTLY availed IN us His Life which ever triumphs any kind of challenge.
Gracious Father thank You for this Light that has been shone in my heart this day. I rejoice in knowing that in You I have the ever-reigning Life and as such I can face anything along my way. I’m refreshed this day and set for a victorious second half of the year. In Christ Jesus’ Name, Amen.
