Jeremiah 22:13(Msg) “Doom to him who builds palaces but bullies people, who makes a fine house but destroys lives, Who cheats his workers and won’t pay them for their work,
In 1Peter 02:09(Nkjv) we are enlightened on who the church of Jesus really is in this world. We are introduced into our peculiarity and clear distinction from the world around us.
Key to note is that we(the church) don’t try to think or act special from the world around us but we are purely distinct in every way from the world. We belong to a different country; the country of grace. Selah!
Hear Romans 06:03 (MSG), Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace–a new life in a new land! That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. Do you see that we live a new life beloved? The Lord wills that you arise to this new life.
In this newness of life wickedness is far from us but rather justice and equity define our dealings. In that job or business, loathe wickedness, treat all men and affairs justly and allow the Lord to exalt you in due time. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 75:06-07 (NKJV), 06 For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. 07 But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.
BOON NUGGET:We(the church) don’t try to think or act special from the world around us but we are purely distinct in every way from the world. We belong to a different country; the country of grace.
CONFESSION: I’m born again from the country of grace, every of my dealings is defined by God’s grace and I harbor no room for wickedness. Hallelujah
