SHUN LAZINESS; USHER PROGRESS

  • September 9, 2017

Proverbs 06:09-11(MSG)
09So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing? How long before you get out of bed? 10A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy–do you know what comes next? 11Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, poverty your permanent houseguest!

A key truth to grasp for everyone begotten of the Lord is that the Lord is committed to His Sons and Daughters progress. As such, He continually ministers to their hearts in visions and dreams concerning His predestined course of life for them.
It’s just impossible to dwell in barrenness and poverty when a man is well instructed in the Truth. Selah! Oh yes, it’s the Truth at home in a man’s heart that liberates him from every bondage and darkness. Hear John 08:32(NKJV) …And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
In today’s devotion, we establish a key truth for every of God’s own; poverty is a result of laziness. Selah! Oh yes it is! But you say, “Pastor, what about all that talk on it (poverty) being from Satan?” Well, that’s a partial truth beloved! The higher truth is that Satan will only harass/torment you in the area of your ignorance! No more, no less! How beautiful it is when God’s people accept to let the Truth shine in their hearts.
Beloved, arise from that lazy self-pity cocoon and usher in your progress. Let the past failures be a bygone story in your life, fix your gaze on Jesus Christ and let the truth shape your life. The new has come! The future is here! Now go manifest Him! Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Gracious Father thank You for Your continued nourishment through Your Word. The more I imbibe Your Word, the more my life shines. I declare that I am a doer of the Word and in this I know no lack. In Christ Jesus’ Name, Amen
