Romans 01:11-12 (NIV)
11I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
In Hebrews 10:25 (NCV), “You should not stay away from church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.” the Spirit of God admonishes us not to forsake the gathering together of the brethren. Key to note is that the Lord would not ask us to do anything if it had no Spiritual benefit for the saint(s).
Many however fail to grasp this mystery concerning our God and have, as a result, backslidden to perdition. It’s key to highly esteem every one of God’s counsel for us. For none of God’s Word shall fail. Hallelujah!
There are things that transpire whenever believers in Christ corporately gather which would have not transpired in secrecy. The bible clearly records various accounts of the Spirit’s move whenever saints were gathered in unison. Than ever before we need to fully understand this beloved and start appropriating the graces tied to corporate worship.
It’s from this higher realm truth that the apostle declares of his yearning for the church in Rome and ascertains of his visit being beneficial for every one of them and him included. Calmly pause and think of what this great apostle understood concerning believers’ gatherings.
Let the Spirit of the Lord enlighten you on the Spiritual benefits that accrue to you whenever you gather for worship. Let your heart be stirred to gather more frequently in the house of the Lord. Hallelujah!
Psalm 122:01 (NIV-UK), I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the LORD.’
I’m a lover and doer of God’s Word at all times. I highly esteem the instructions of the Lord and as such partake of the blessings therein. I commit to continually gather with fellow saints in God’s house for our mutual faith up-building. Hallelujah!
