BOON NUGGET:

“What we harbor in our hearts translates to what

forms our convictions and this is reflected in our

lives”

Pastor Karen

2 Corinthians 05:07 (AMPC)

For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct

ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s

relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy

fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.

A statement from our lead verse today pops out.”…

We regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our

conviction or belief…” Selah! This is simply to mean that our

lives are a reflection of our convictions and our beliefs. It

is therefore safe to say that wrong convictions and beliefs

would lead to a wrong life and a wrong way of conducting

our affairs.

No wonder the writer in Proverbs 04:23 (NKJV) would urge us

to keep our hearts with all diligence, For out of it [spring] the

issues of life. What we harbor in our hearts translates to what

forms our convictions and this is reflected in our lives.

It is therefore key for every believer to watch and keenly

check to see what convictions and beliefs they have.

Our convictions are greatly influenced by our media and

what we expose ourselves to. No wonder Paul in Acts 20:32

commends us to God and to His Word of Grace that is able to

build us up and give us our inheritance among the sanctified.

He knew all that would align our lives.

Beloved, be careful what you hear and how you hear.

Build-up new convictions and believes in the Lord based on

the Word of God then your profiting will automatically be

evident to all.

CALL TO ACTION:

I will be given to the study of scriptures as the

knowledge of this gives me better insights thus

forming better convictions and beliefs. I only see

Jesus and am moved only by what He says and

what He does.
