James 5:16b-17(Ampc), “…The EARNEST (HEARTFELT, CONTINUED) PRAYER of a RIGHTEOUS (BELIEVER IN CHRIST) man(and woman) makes TREMENDOUS POWER available [DYNAMIC in its WORKING]. Elijah was a human being WITH a NATURE such as we have [with FEELINGS, AFFECTIONS, and a CONSTITUTION like ours]; and he PRAYED EARNESTLY for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months.”
Across the scriptures we are introduced to men and women who lived impactful lives in their days. Men and women whose presence had tangible proofs of a Living God to their worlds. Our lead verses lets us in on such a Kingdom General who demonstrated God-results IN and THROUGH a yielded man.
Key to always recall is that all that’s written in the scriptures is written for our learning and strengthening in our walk of faith. Regardless of the stage that you are in life there’s SURE Hope for you IN Christ beloved!
Hear Romans 15:04(Easy to Read Version), EVERYTHING that was WRITTEN in the PAST was WRITTEN TO TEACH US. Those things were written so that we could HAVE HOPE. That hope comes from the PATIENCE and ENCOURAGEMENT that the Scriptures give us.
