Ephesians 05:15-17 (J.B. Philips)
You know the truth—let your life show it! Live life, then, with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning and purpose of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the difficulties of these days. Don’t be vague but firmly grasp what you know to be the will of God.
Across the scriptures we are exposed to God’s will (plans and intents) concerning His people. At various times the Lord dealt and communicated with His people in various ways. But in these last times He speaks to His church through Christ Jesus. Hear Hebrews 01:01-2a (AMPC), 01In many separate revelations [eah of which set forth a portion of the Truth] and in different ways God spoke of old tp [our] forefathers in and by the prophets. 02[But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son …
Christ is the fulfillment and the summation of God’s will for mankind. The fullness of God’s will for mankind is revealed and only understood on the face of Jesus Christ. Selah!
We are therefore not called to living an ignorant life or a life where we have zero or bits knowledge of God’s will but rather we are called into fully grasping God’s will for us as outlined in our lead verses.
As the children of God we are to live out the will of God; our lifestyles should depict God’s will for us. As a matter of fact, the Christian is a manifestation of God’s will in this world. Selah!
Refuse to live in darkness in any area of your life any further. Live a responsible life by fully knowing and grasping His will for you. Hallelujah!
Ephesians 05:15&17 (AMPC), 15Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people)
17Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.
Loving Father thank You for the divine privilege to know Your will for my life. I thank You for the Holy Spirit Who causes I to understand and live out this Will all my days. In Jesus’ mighty name,Amen.
