CHILD-LIKENESS IN THE KINGDOM

  • January 11, 2019
Matthew 19:14 (The Living Bible)
But Jesus said, “Let the LITTLE CHILDREN come to me, and don’t prevent them. For OF SUCH IS the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Jesus, in our lead verse was going about His ministry and the disciples in their own thinking thought the children coming towards the Master were a bother. However, the Lord took this opportunity, not only to minister to the children, but to also communicate a certain kingdom truth.
The statement the Lord makes is something every believer should pause and think about; ‘For OF SUCH IS the Kingdom of God.’
What He was saying is; of such that trust unreservedly, of such that fully depend on Him, of such that are not ashamed to call for help, of such that
are innocent and willing to be taught, of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
God is looking to have Children and not just converts. He does not want His sons and daughters childish all days BUT He wants them mature to partake of all the Kingdom entails in a child-like manner.
Beloved, allow yourself to be child-like this day and be fully dependent on God. Childishness is not allowed in the Kingdom of God: Childishness denotes mistrust, anxiety, agitation and worry BUT child-likeness denotes full confidence in God.
This day on forth choose to be Child-like and enjoy all that the Kingdom of Heaven entails. Hàllelujah!

CONFESSION:
I will fully depend on the Lord. I have confidence in no one else but Him. A child-like trust and reliance develops in me. In this I follow and allow myself to be fully led, fully instructed and fully guided of the Lord. Amen
