AN INVITATION TO LIVE FREELY AND LIGHTLY

  • November 13, 2017

BOON NUGGET:

“Keep company with the Lord and He will sure

teach you how to live”

Pastor Karen

Matthew 11:30 (MSG)

“Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and

lightly.”

In Matthew 11:28 (NKJV), {Come to Me, all you who labour

and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.} the Lord

makes an invitation to all who have any form of burdens and

are heavy laden because in Him, rest is assured. The Lord

took care of all burdens that we would ever have suffered,

when He gave up His throne on majesty to die on the cross

for us.

The desire of the Lord for every believer is that we keep

company with Him all days and as we do so, we are taught

of Him to live freely and lightly. It is so interesting to note that in

our world today and in our individual circumstances, we are

so used to always being burdened, either by the economy,

our careers, our families, by the politics of the day among

so many other things. People are consistently physically and

emotionally tired as they have carried all these things.

But the mind of Christ concerning us is to live freely and

lightly. He desires these for every believer. It is key to note

that the Lord is not a man that He should lie, therefore He

means what He says. Ours is to accept and align ourselves

accordingly. Beloved, stop carrying issues of this life on your

own, keep company with the Lord and He will sure teach

you how to live.

Quit allowing the circumstances of life to pull you down,

allow yourself to live freely and lightly in Christ. Praise the

Lord!

PRAYER:

Father in the Name of Jesus Christ, I bless You

because in You I enjoy rest all days. You desire

that I live freely and lightly and that is exactly how

I will live all my days. I am grateful. Amen
